I have been photographing show dogs professionally for over 10 years, so I understand the special requirements of this type of photography. I have provided the advertising photography for many top-ranked show dogs over the years, but I put the same amount of effort and care into every dog I photograph, whether it’s a big winner or your owner-handled, home-bred champion. My goal is to produce an image that will be not only be flattering but also beautiful.
I offer several options, any of these can be modified to suit your special needs.
RINGSIDE CANDIDS
$85 – I will photograph your dog while in the ring to your preferences (e..g, stacked, gaiting, etc). Includes online proofs and one 8×10″ print or a file sent to a magazine for advertising.
PORTRAIT
$185 – This is the perfect option if you want a beautiful portrait of your dog for an album, to hang on your wall, or to use in an advertisement. It includes shoot time (usually about 30 minutes), proofs, and one photo for you that can be either an 8×10″ print or a file sent to a magazine for your advertisement.
PHOTO PACKAGES
$350 – Includes shoot time, digital or printed proofs, and two photos that can be either 8×10″ prints or files sent to a magazine for your advertisement. We can shoot at multiple locations or different times.
$675 – Includes shoot time, digital or printed proofs, and four photos that can be either 8×10″ prints or files sent to a magazine for your advertisement. This is the best option if you want multiple photos for advertising, because we can meet multiple times at different shows or locations to get the photos you need when you need them. This option also includes ringside photography any time I don’t have another commitment.
THE EPIC SHOT
$2600 – This option is for those that want a spectacular piece of art to hang on the wall. Includes up to 5 hours of shoot time over two days if necessary, digital proofs, and a 16 x20″ canvas print that can either be framed under glass or gallery wrapped. Your print credit can be put towards larger sizes, and your photo can also be rendered as a digital painting that has the appearance of a textured oil painting. Ask me for pricing if you are interested in these options.
OTHER OPTIONS
You photos can be printed at any size and on a variety of materials including linen art paper, canvas, and even aluminum, and also as greeting cards, an album, woven purses and throws, t-shirts, coffee cups, and may other items. You can also purchase digital files suitable for your website, a slideshow, or to email to friends.
TRAVEL
We can either shoot on the showgrounds, or we can meet at a special location. Travel is included for anywhere within Los Angeles or Orange Counties. If you want to shoot at locations farther afield, if you have special requirements, or if you want to make more complicated arrangements for your particular custom shoot, give me a call and we’ll work out what you need and what additional costs might apply.
THE GUARANTEE
Once we agree on the shooting plan, my fee is GUARANTEED and we will shoot until we get what you want. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, or your dog isn’t at his best, or we just don’t get the perfect shot, we will keep shooting or arrange to meet again on another day with no additional charge. I will shoot until you are happy.
